ABOUT THIS WORK
The medias are formidable instruments that help shape and educate individuals and it therefore results that a lot of what we know finds its source in the media. Currently, with the Internet and all the technologies that are connected to it, individuals benefit from an unprecedentedly significant outreach. People can share content globally to an international audience. The spectator now acts as a relaying ground to the media, or as a media himself. This work poses the idea that each has influence over the other, depending on what he shares. Anyone, as an individual and sometimes anonymously, takes part in the shaping of the perception of the world for a global audience. A global audience, undifferentiated, built up of individuals of all ages and beliefs who, in turn, will influence their entourage. Now confronted to a face that is larger than life, one that evokes the relation of proximity created by new medias, the spectator is invited to share his content inside the head of an individual, and that without censorship. The act of sharing is hereto presented under a less naïve light. In turns out that the spectator is actually writing on a moving image. The face progressively evolves towards a morphing, more or less perceptibly, of different faces of all ages and all cultures. Doing so, once the audience is done writing or drawing, the initial face has already changed. side.
